Relocation Intern
As a Relocation intern, you support the Relocation Team in relocating employees and their families from one country to another as part of their employment. You will assist the Relocation consultant’s role in setting up and overseeing the relocation package to be delivered to the employee, ensuring that the transition from one country to another runs as smoothly as possible. The responsibilities range from recognizing immigration requirements, organizing house moves and schooling, and assisting with other settling-in aspects.
Key Responsibilities
You will be included to the communication and processes of the main contact person for the international transferee and see how we work closely with the corporate clients
You are able to build an excellent relationship with a lot of different providers, and get insight on how the consultants build and maintain relations with the transferees, his/her family and the corporate client contact person(s)
You follow all practical aspects in the most efficient sequence to be organized while moving to another country to the Netherlands
You assist with scheduling and setting up pre-move orientation tours (with content of interest to the transferee)
You search for housing, coordinate appointments with real estate agents, follow negotiations about rental price and lease conditions, and learn to read rental contracts
You search for (international) schools, acquire knowledge of the various (international) education systems, and communicate with the schools to arrange placement
You schedule appointments for registration with the Dutch authorities, to obtain the BSN numbers, or to open a bank account
Requirements
HBO level or higher level
A relevant education, suitable for relocation (Global Mobility sector)
Customer-oriented, proactive, accurate, and with an eye for detail
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language
Good at keeping an overview and being able to switch quickly
Driven, goal-oriented, and looking for a challenge
Positive attitude, energetic approach, and independent
