We managed Hamed’s relocation from Croatia to the Netherlands and asked him some questions about his experience!

Hi Hamed! Where did you move from? I moved from Croatia.

Where do you live now? I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What made you decide to move to the Netherlands? An interesting job position.

How did you find transitioning to living in a foreign country? It’s a little challenging. However, this experience and continuous improvement in my personal and business life are good.

How do you find the Dutch language? At first look, it isn’t easy to learn. However, fortunately, due to English speakers in Amsterdam, everything can be handled. 

What has been the best part of your move?  The multi-cultural environment of the workplace in Amsterdam

What has been the hardest part of your expat experience so far? Finding a new house.

What would you have done differently? Nothing!

Any last words or pieces of advice?  Amsterdam is a good city and I like the Netherlands in general. The relocation services I received made it much more convenient to settle in.
